Ledbury’s shops, cafes, hotels and pubs are all ready for this week’s Ledbury Big Breakfast, and some are finding different ways of celebrating Ledbury’s breakfast weekend.

The Muse Café is raising money for the Mayor of Ledbury’s charity – running a sealed bid auction for a fabulous umbrella and with a raffle.

Llandinabo Farm Shop and Caffè No 21 will be announcing the winner of the design a sausage campaign on Friday.

Hay Wines are entering the spirit of the event with that most “breakfasty” of drinks – Bucks Fizz.

John Masefield High School staff are sitting down to a special Ledbury Big Breakfast before school on Friday.

Griff Holliday, organiser for Ledbury Food Group said, “It’s great that so many in and around Ledbury are taking part.  We hope everybody enjoys at least one breakfast.”

Ledbury and district food shops, cafes, hotels and pubs are getting ready for the Ledbury Big Breakfast.

Visit Llandinabo Farm Shop, Homend or Caffè No 21, High Street to pick up an entry form for their competition to design a new breakfast sausage.  Entries need to be in before 25th January.  The new sausage will made in time to be available to buy to take home at Llandinabo, or savour at Caffè No 21 during the Big Breakfast. Ledbury again celebrates our wonderful local food with the 5th Ledbury Big Breakfast taking place on Friday 27th, Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th January.  20 local venues in and around Ledbury will be taking part on one or more days in this event organised by Ledbury Food Group.

We welcomed Karen and Sara from the national Breakfast Week campaign to this year’s Big Breakfast. Ledbury is the only town where the whole town gets involved with Breakfast Week and while they were here they made a promotional video to encourage participation in the event.

The video features Dave Waller, Heather from the Market House Cafe, Andy Ward from the Talbot, James from Llandinabo Farm Shop and Penny from the Nest. Our apologies to those we did not have time to visit and to anyone who participated but is not featured.
