What could be better on a cold January morning than a tasty breakfast? This year 19 local food outlets are joining to bring you the best in breakfast and the best in local food on Friday and Saturday 29th and 30th January. This event is run by Ledbury Food Group in conjunction with Breakfast Week 2016.
Our local restaurants, cafes and hotels have again excelled themselves with specials to tempt you featuring local food. New dishes this year for you to enjoy include breakfast ciabattas, potato rosti with eggs and salmon, a healthy breakfast bake, a breakfast pudding, apple and cinnamon porridge, apple cured salmon or smoked trout and scrambled eggs, potato cakes with egg and bacon, local cheese and ale rarebit, a “deconstructed breakfast”, breakfast, sweet and savoury blinis, and a brand new “black pudding bonanza” to take home. If you fancy Eggs Benedict, muffins, croissants, omelettes, or traditional home cured bacon and eggs then Ledbury is the place for you. And we celebrate breakfast again with a special Rock and Roll Bingo Brunch on the Saturday.

Our butchers will again have a good range of local produced breakfast produce for you to take home, cook and enjoy.
Visit the Country Market at St Katherine’s Hall on Friday to discover the local products they sell, and try their continental breakfast platter featuring locally cured meats.
In another first, Handley Organics hosts a special Syrian-style breakfast with proceeds going to Ledbury Refugee Support.
We are pleased to have such a range of local food on offer again, and to join in Breakfast Week 2016 with its key message of the importance of a good breakfast to start the day.
Things get busy on the Saturday – most venues will take bookings.
